What happens when we arrive
1. Identify the source and immediate hazards. We ask what happened, look at the affected areas, and help determine whether the water source has been stopped. If electrical hazards, sewage, or structural concerns are present, we adjust the work plan to protect people first.
2. Find where the water traveled. Water can move beneath flooring, behind baseboards, and into wall cavities. We inspect and take moisture readings to establish the affected area instead of relying only on what looks wet.
3. Begin mitigation. Depending on the conditions, the crew may extract standing water, protect contents, remove materials that cannot be dried in place, and set air movers and dehumidifiers. Equipment placement and the drying plan follow the materials and moisture readings found on site.
4. Document and monitor. Photos, readings, and a record of the work help explain the scope and track drying progress. ARS can then handle the needed reconstruction through completion, giving you one team from emergency mitigation to finished repairs.
